Well, he is here! Samuel Matthew Spalinger graced the world with his presence on 10.10.2007 at 1637. It was a quick but painful delivery as he weighed in at 9lbs, 9oz, 22inches long but it was worth it. He is now a month old and he already weighs 10lbs. Things have been crazy around the house with him here but we are adjusting and grateful he is here. Leya loves having her brother around too. She especially loves getting into trouble when Patricia is feeding Sammy and she can't get up to stop her.
This past week has been great for us sleep wise. Sammy has gone to going 4-5 hours at night but then up every 2 or so after that and Leya is down to about waking up once during the night. We are all still tired but at least we are getting some sleep.
Well, he is awake so off we go. Be looking for more pics and updates to come!
